What a great group of seniors! PRIMEtimers meets the second Monday
of each month at Southwest Missouri Bank Community Center, 7th and Duquesne, at 11:00 am for a sometimes entertaining, sometimes informative program. But no matter what the program, they enjoy each other’s fellowship and loving on one another. From 11:00 am - 1:00 pm we have a catered lunch for $5.00 per person. Sign-ups are two weeks ahead on the north side of the Worship Center. For more information, contact Rick Bushnell, Senior Adult Minister.

Just to see the smile on peoples' faces when they hear that friendly knock on the door and see our volunteers with a good hot and nutritious lunch, is worth it all.
College Heights Christian Church helps with the Crosslines Ministry by providing food and clothing to the poor and at times helping with utility bills. Volunteers meet one day a month at Crosslines from 9:45 am to 2:00 pm to fill the food pantry shelves and food orders for people in need and to sort, size, and hang clothes for those who will be shopping for their families.

The Cheerleaders’ group of College Heights Christian Church is dedicated to ministering to members of our church and community who are restricted in their activities to some extent due to health or other problems. We have a sincere desire to serve others in a spirit of Christian love through personal visits, prayer, and concern for their well being. We also try to be the “eyes and ears” for our church body so that anyone who is experiencing an especially difficult time will have personal attention or needed assistance from the pastoral staff or the elders.
Our members make visits to private homes, hospitals, and health care centers. This is done through one to three member visiting teams. Assignments are given at the first of every month to each team who then take responsibility for making arrangements for a convenient time to make visits.
We also have members who take responsibility for making telephone calls, sending cards, or furnishing musical programs in a care facility. This is an extension of our Cheerleader ministry.
If you know of anyone who could benefit from this ministry, please contact Norma Wilson (782-5367), our Senior Adult Minister, Rick Bushnell (624-2915 x190), or Rick’s Administrative Assistant, Vicky Stuck (624-6915 x121). We will be happy to add them to our list to receive regular calls.
