Ascribe to the Lord the glory due his name; worship the Lord in the splendor of his holiness. -Psalms 29:2

The Worship Ministry consists of five basic areas that work together to accomplish our goal of igniting a passion for the glory and presence of God: Prayer Ministry, Vocal Praise Team, Praise Band, Celebration Singers, & Instruments of Praise.
Prayer Ministry
The Prayer Ministry exists that we might become “a house of prayer for all the nations” (Isaiah 56:7). All ministry begins with prayer for God to: glorify Himself through our prayers and His answers, save the lost and raise up workers for the harvest, empower ministry through us - His people, protect and lead His body, and have mercy on the sick and afflicted.
Vocal Team
The Praise Team consists of vocalists who blend well in small groups and who could, on occasion, sing a solo. This team is willing to give their time and talent to lead the Body in worship. An audition is required.
Praise Band
The Praise Band is a vital element in our worship services. It consists of people who love to play their instruments for the Lord, and in so doing, will help lead the church to God’s throne. This band consists of a rhythm section: keyboard, percussion, lead and bass guitars, drums, and - on occasion - other instruments. An audition is required.
Celebration Singers
The Celebration Singers is our adult choir. It consists of people who love to sing and use their talents for the Lord. The choir has four sections: soprano, alto, tenor, bass. We meet on Wednesday evenings at
7:00 pm. For more information contact Lynn Conover, Choir Director.
Instruments of Praise
The CHCC orchestra is composed of musicians who want to play their instruments for the Lord. We believe instrumental music is a creative way to reach out to people. The orchestra meets on Wednesday evenings at 7:00 pm. For more information contact Phil Mehrens, Director.

If you are interested in being a part of the Worship Ministry Team, please contact either Phil Mehrens, Worship Minister, or Lynn Conover, Worship Coordinator at 624-6915.
